Harmony Ranch Road

Welcome to Harmony Ranch Road "King's X"

A SAFE, SECURE PLACE WITH YOUR OWN FOOD AND WATER!!

This breathtaking Real Log Home estate is located near the ocean at 1555 Harmony Ranch Road, Harmony, California 93435, just a few miles South of Cambria off of Highway 1.  Ultimate, stunning, private, 40 acre hideaway, 360 ocean and mountain views, including Morro Rock, the bay, and Hearst Castle.  The ranch is gated, secluded, fenced, and surrounded by hundreds of acres.  A Cal Fire inspector said the property has incredible defensible space for safety with extremely low risk for fire from surroundings.  The neighboring land is pasture land with no brush to burn and it is grazed very efficiently.  The closest neighbor in any direction is about a mile away. The property is NOT part of an association.  It is fenced for horses and cattle. Many say it feels like Big Sur and Ventana.  You can watch a moonrise over the mountains and a sunset over the ocean at the same time. Golden eagles and Bald eagles live here and regularly soar over the property! Butterflies, doves, quail and hummingbirds are numerous.  It is just minutes to Cambria, Cayucos, Morro Bay, San Luis Obispo or Paso Robles. You might be doing nude jumping-jacks where you live now but at least when living here no one sees you.

There are sixty solar panels on the home and it is currently not off the grid but one could add batteries to the system if desired.  There is perfect cell reception and excellent high speed Internet.   The detached three car garage is 825 sq.ft. and it was built in 2013.  The attached 825 sq.ft. former garage is now bonus space and used as a recording studio. The property has great private wells with a robust supply of fine quality water. The main well produces approximately 40 gallons per minute.  The weather is warmer than nearby Cambria and it allows fruit trees and garden beds to grow really well.  The food is grown organically.

The property has an amazing pool that looks like a mountain in the Sierra Nevada with two waterfalls, cave, water slide and a spa in the pool.  Intellitouch panel and remote control for the falls, slide, spa and color LED light system.  Decking is made of incredibly durable and beautiful Ipe wood. Approximately 6,000 sq.ft. of very high-end synthetic turf recently installed all around the home. Plenty of room for visiting RVs and there is a dump station. There is a very large, wood-burning, rock BBQ.  Massive wood burning rock fireplaces in the living room and master bedroom. Energy efficient,18 Seer, top-of-the-line York, dual fuel heat pump heater/ air conditioner. Chef's kitchen. One of a kind master bath with large walk in multi-jet shower and a large soaking tub. There is ample, flat space for a helicopter pad.  You have never seen any place like this before and there is nothing else like it on the West coast.  A wonderful place for events such as weddings, retreats and parties.

Kitchen with bar counter

This is definitely a chef's kitchen and it has a large gas oven, gas grille and six large BTU burners, two additional electric ovens and a warming oven. The large farm style sink area looks out to the backyard, the pool and to the Santa Lucia mountains. Those distant mountains can have snow on them at least once a year. The kitchen has great storage space and there is a walk-in pantry with a lot of storage as well. The underside of the island's granite countertop has LED lights so you can see a neat glow through the crystals of the stone. The sunrise view over the mountains, as well as the moonrise, is breathtaking.

The massive rock fireplace fits well in the large living room with a 17 foot tall ceiling. There is a reflective plate in the fireplace to send out additional warmth. It is set up so it is easy to view the fire, the rotating large screen TV (which is included) and the ocean out the large picture windows. The living room has a fabulous Klipsch surround sound system.

This BBQ will feed everyone. Just steps from the pool and close to the kitchen. It is a real party area.

The pool holds approximately 40,000 gallons, has two waterfalls and a water slide. The spa, next to the left waterfall, flows over the edge to create a nice water feature when it is filtering and not heated and in use. Behind the left waterfall is a cave with a heater and built-in bench. Behind the right waterfall is the outlet for a water slide that makes you feel you are going to hit a wall and then suddenly puts you in the pool, passing through the waterfall. The color LED lights in the spa and pool are controlled by a remote control. There are several options for light shows like Romance, Royalty, Sunset, etc. The remote also controls the waterfalls, slide and spa functions. The pool has a walk-in beach area and several diving locations.

One of many choices for the pool colors. It will fade to another color in the setting you choose.

These are fun 120 sq. ft. buildings located in what we affectionately call "Central Park". They are next to or look over ponds to the ocean. The iris plants are located along the side of the path and run for hundreds of feet and in a wide variety of colors. There are several benches perfectly located for views for the different times of the year as the sun and the moon set in different locations across the ocean. The buildings get a wonderful warm solar gain in the Winter.

To the right of "Central Park" is an organically maintained orchard of 70 plus trees (Fuji apples, apricots, plums, peaches, nectarines, pears, and citrus). Some blueberries, raspberries, boysenberries and pomegranates. Potatoes! Greenhouse. There are elevated garden beds that you can sit on the edge of to garden. They are currently planted in strawberries and potatoes. The water is of such fine quality up here that the most delicate plants we have wanted to have are able to grow. We are getting amazing tasting organic fruit from our orchard.
